Mount Pleasant Christian School
Requirements
Each child must be 6 years old on or before September 1st to enroll in the first grade and must present a valid birth certificate.
New Students
A completed application must be submitted--if you have joint custody, both parents must give written consent when enrolling their child.
Parents/guardians must attend orientation before a student can be enrolled.
The administrator and teachers will conduct an interview with the student and parents/guardians.
During the interview, time will be scheduled for the student to undergo diagnostic testing. Students may take the test on the Internet at www.aceministries.com or use school-issued PACES by paying a non-refundable fee of $20 to cover the cost. The purpose of this test is to determine the student’s aptitude and to insure proper academic placement.
A meeting will be scheduled with the parent/guardian(s) and a representative of the MPCS Board of Directors.
Tuition and Fees
A registration fee is required and is non-refundable, non-transferable, and must be paid in full in advance. You may pay registration/tuition by cash, personal check, money order, or certified bank check. Tuition is $2,750/year to be paid in 10 monthly installments. Tuition is due one month in advance of attendance. Family discounts may be available for multiple children. If tuition is not be paid by the first school day of the month, the student will be suspended from MPCS. If the account is not paid in full within 10 school days, the child will be formally dismissed from MPCS. Report cards, transcripts, diplomas, and other records will only be issued when a student’s account is paid in full. School administration reserves the right to withhold all records until the account is current.
For a first year student, registration is $200 per family and is non-refundable; thereafter, fee is $150 per family and is non-refundable.
Tuition includes curriculum material (PACES).
